The nutrition team at Barley+ is headed up by Dr Sonja Kukuljan. Sonja has a special research interest in the nutritional benefits of grains and their fibers and milk and its proteins to health across the lifespan. She is especially interested in the benefits of prebiotic dietary fiber and its effects on gut microflora profiles, short chain fatty acid production and health in general. Sonja, who is also an Accredited Practising Dietitian, together with our nutrition team are here to answer any questions you may have, including those around introducing fermentable fibers into the diets of Americans.
