Kim Hoeltje is one of the influencers we were fortunate enough to have participate in the Freedom Foods 28 Day Reboot Challenge.
She likes staying active and believes in living life in moderation. She creates recipes for her social media pages and is a part-time stay-at-home mother. In just a few months she will be the mother of not just one, but two young children. Kim has a two-year-old daughter and is 34 weeks pregnant with her second child.
As an expectant mother, we were interested to see how the Barley+ line of products would positively affect Kim throughout her pregnancy, and it was an improvement!
“The food tasted good! I have had a lot of food aversions so it was great when I found something I enjoyed! Plus it just made it easy for breakfast or snacks.”
Food aversions are a common occurrence in pregnancies but Kim seemed to handle it well with the Barley+ bars.
“The bars were great on the go. A perfect snack size and I loved the sweet chewiness!”
Kim also found a new level of comfort with her digestion while on the challenge.
“Digestion was definitely better. Constipation has been a big problem with pregnancy so the prebiotic fiber was fabulous!”
This is common in adults who are not pregnant but it is also good to see the prebiotic fiber, that we know and love, also positively impact anyone struggling with constipation.
Research has shown that gut microbiota can colonize the infants gut before birth and that infants can receive microorganisms from the mother during gestation. The 28 Day Reboot Challenge doesn’t just make the mother feel better, it actually makes the baby healthier.
We love providing products to people who can benefit from them, and the truth is, anyone can!
