Siosifa Talakai, or Sifa, is a Second Row and Centre player for the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Talakai is a junior with the Rabbitohs and is one of the younger players.
Talakai, like some of his fellow teammates, came into the season a bit heavier than they or their coaches would prefer. This means that players can keep muscle on their frame, but hopefully lose those pounds of excess before season starts. Talakai was able to see great results from the challenge.
“I actually dropped two kilos.” said Talakai. “my main goal was to drop weight and get as fit as I could before the season started.”
In the first week of doing the challenge, I was able to see good results.”
The challenge was a great way for Talakai to increase his well-being while losing weight.
The most common occurrence seen in people who take part in the 28 Day Reboot Challenge in weight gain, but like Talakai, many report feeling better in overall energy and a happier disposition.
“I liked it, sometimes I would have it [a Barley+ bar] in between training sessions. I felt full of energy and pretty light.” said Talakai.
When he’s not playing rugby, Talakai likes to relax and play music.
Freedom Foods partnered with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and a few of their players to take part in the 28 Day Reboot Challenge.
